Jennifer Pelaez received her Doctor of Optometry degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Houston College of Optometry.  Prior to that, she received her undergraduate degree in Zoology, magna cum laude, from the University of Texas at Austin.  She has been practicing Optometry in Colorado since 2001, and in Grand County since 2004. 
 
When not working at Winter Park Optical, she enjoys white-water kayaking, overnight rafting trips, skiing , mountain biking, playing the guitar, and traveling in Central America.  She currently resides in Fraser with her bengal cat, Scooter.
